Where can all this stuff be accessed? Like the unlocker, or the modified press demo. How is the emulator supposed to be setup? When I tried the press demo, I got crashes in the same exact spot on the loading screen on both retail Xbox and Xemu, even with the 128MB option turned on.

i played this shit as a kid....in russia, so imagine a kid that dont know anything about cars, doing a tutorial in different language lol

Ign gave it a 7, 7 isnt a bad thing. Every ign 7 game ive played ended up being really good. 7 basiclly means its amazing, but couldve been better , But still, you gonna end up puttin +50 hours in....

0:37 True story, even in 2001 people didnt know what the hell a slalom was either, as I remember people talking about the old spyhunter game and going what's a slalom with the objectives you had to do on the test track with that, and it was literally the first time they had heard those words, or understood what it ment when really it should have been listed as weave between the poles, or have Slalom, Weave between the poles and 99% of people would have gotten it right off the bat and understood what it was asking you to do

I accidentally stumbled on the Training section as a kid, and it helped me get through the infamous car park prologue. I suspect Driver’s infamous difficulty would have been mitigated had Reflections better advertised the fact they have a video guide that shows you exactly what to do.

pc version tutorial is cleaner and faster you can use it in ps1 version to speed run cuz ps1 version cars are lighter and the acceleration is higher also the parking lot is wider for some reason i wish someone port the ps1 version for pc like redriver2 without changes except resolution and fps

like most people i sadly didnt know about it - as a kid me and my friend never figured out how to beat it! only later as a teenager i beat it with the help of youtube videos.

I remember me and my dad sitting with a searing hot laptop on our lap, taking turns trying to beat this one mission. We were so pissed at how it was just the tutorial, and the game afterwards was much easier, but the practice probably helped a ton lol

Best Driver i ever played was the second one. I can remember Driver on his era, was a modern GTA for it's class, hope franchise to return back!

Some parts of the game feel similar to "Emergency Call Ambulance" from Sega, only the director/co-driver from that game only says "turn left" or "turn right", and slightly more freedom.
